When we investigate, everybody says its generic, robust, high quality and standard. But the question is, then why can't it be used for another purpose or a similar process. Now the answer will contain all the words mixed with modern IT dictionary. The feeling will be like teaching feelings to a most modern advance robot which is like a new born infant. Will curse the moment, why we asked that question.
This post may not have the answers to satisfy the same but have the questions to direct a ray on how that be answered. Since the author as well is walking the same path.
1. Is there a way to apply generics and dynamics other than a business need. Can that business need considered to be generic?
2. If a person like to wear different dress and have a unique way of getting things done; then can this nature be made persistent to your application, than make it boring?
3. Can you project your extensibility and scalability than your so called data structure with anything can be stored?
4. Adaptive maintenance like user feels using advanced features without causing your application down available in your application?
5. Are you challenging yourself to run your fingers across keys to create some words readable, beautiful and optimised than show off with "i" and "j" as variables?
Always wished and tried to attain these with ASP.NET MVC, Web API, CMSLike Ektron, Kentico, Sharepoint, SQL Azure, Windows Azure.
Lets hope something can be delivered in the near future answering these..
